Im sorry I didnt think of that myself after having read your article. Not sure how to help. The warning appears only when running this one specific job. The power is direct to the bus, so you shouldnt need the jumper. But I kept things simple and immediately queried and setup the nvpmodel parameters. When operating with passive cooling, depending upon the workload the heatsink may get hot to the touch and direct contact should be avoided. I seem to recall that it is 1A at each 5V pin. Those jumpers should work fine.The J48 jumper is right behind the barrel jack.
