He is the most mysterious of the four characters. I highly recommend it, especially if youre looking for a new fantasy series to read with kickass LGBTQ+ representation.
This boy cares so much, and its heart-breaking that Vehan doesnt know. She cares about everyone, from her closest friends and family to complete strangers. Nausica has quite the backstory. The second central romance is between Vehan and Aurelian, best friends to lovers. Fate has already decided on your future, but there are certain moments in your lifesuch as nowwhere she gives you the chance to choose the path youd like to take to get there. For a people who it pains to tell lies, youre very bad at admitting truths. Id be happy to tell you! However, Ashley Shuttleworth has accomplished this feat. The quality of the writing was stunning. I really hope Ashley isnt planning his death or anything . Seriously, where did they learn how to write like that?! Arlo, a half-human/half-Fae girl (known as an ironblood) who desperately wants a life in the magical world that looks down on her for her slightly less than pure birth.
