So is this a brand new property, or did Hilton take over something, invest in massive remodel/upgrade, and then opening in May? The new airport being built in Tulum will add yet another reason for hotels to turn their attention to the Mexican city.

With 735 rooms, the resort is located on the Caribbean coastline of the Riviera Maya. Budget travelers not looking for the lofty prices offered at the Conrad would do well to check this wonderful hotel out for their Tulum trip. I'm intrigued since its new, in tulum and an all inclusive.

Considering the high number of points Hilton offers on paid rates, it might make sense to book these future properties with cash and then accrue a ton of points that make it worthwhile.

As great as this property looks, another Hilton hotel opening nearby will get luxury travelers excited: The Waldorf Astoria property will be located adjacent to the Hilton Cancun and is currently accepting reservations for May 1, 2022, onward. Debating between this one and the Conrad next door for burning certificate on a trip in May with family (have a 3.5 yr kid so mostly just resort lounging). 2022 Travel Noire.
