Both my 4 year old and 5 year old can work this machine without help. The LED light blinked rapidly like it's supposed to when it heats up, and then the suddenly light shut off. I just wish there were other molds to purchase. Once I let the molds cool for 20 to 30 minutes after the initial 4 minute cool down time I got perfect molds every time. However they still only have the 3 available. Bought this product for my son for Christmas.
