Does excilent tho it drains batteries like crazy and has no options for a plug, Recently moved into an apartment complex. So, this battery operated, ultra portable shop vac seemed to be the answer, and to some degree it is, but only if your mess can be cleaned up in 5 minutes or less.
Finally we found it. I have a 14 month old Ridgid drill & impact driver set that came with two 18v Lithium X4 batteries (I love that set! While this vacuum has more power than other cordless wet/dry vacuums, it is not as powerful as the top of the RIDGID line so for heavy work or large amounts of water we would still recommend a traditional RIDGID Wet/Dry Vac. Did all kinds of research, very good value for $$. I use it 5 to 6 times a day 5 to 10 minutes at a time and go through 1 to 2 batteries so have extras!

I agree that the vacuum doesn't last very long but it is much better if you use a 4.0 ah battery. Its Great vacuum, lots of suction, but it does wane downas battery weakens. It is a good cordless alternative to their smaller gun trigger version. No other cordless tool has batteries hidden behind a cover. 2) The battery compartment is under the hose attachment so its not very convenient for changing out.
If I have a big clean up job I'll either bring out my small corded shop vac or my large rolling shop vac.
