Well, let me start by saying this is a v.secret frag, and I grew up wearing this whole line and other classics like dream angels and supermodel. It is inexpensive and does the job without making you smell like a high school gym locker full of hot pink VS musky notes (not that there is no time or place or that). when I first sprayed this on, it smelled like suntan lotion, but then it stared to smell very synthetic. The chamomille aloe vera again! Definitely not my worst. I have the EDT version. Smells really good, but this will not replace my love for Bare Vanilla. I love this fragrance, it smells very lovely and tropical. i love it!!! Such a sweet scent! Beachy coconut with hints of vanilla but for some reason its either really weak or Im anosmic to it. Coconut Passion is a very simple fragrance made with vanilla, coconut, and lily-of-the-valley. My husband likes this. After reading previous posts I'm going to try layering it with other scents! so, this is obviously the queen of vanillas in my book! I like this one. The coconut is present enough to give it a creamy, milky scent, but not strong enough that it's nutty. smells delicious and lasts a looong time. It's tolerable. I'm on my 7th bottle now, with no desire to ever stop buying this truly decadent scent. In my huge collection of perfumes, this is the only Coconut perfume that I have and I adore it. I finally bought this after wanting it for so long. Wears amazing in warm, humid weather. I really wish I had picked up a bottle, but I might have to go back for it! It's delicious! But I can't find the body mist on Fragrantica yet so for keeping record of my collection and in order to write a review I have chosen the EDT to comment on. Its not sensual to me, but definitely pleasant and inoffensive compared to many scents alike. Mmmm, yummy! If you're a gourmand fan, you MUST try this. Definately not a "summer scent" would be too cloying. If you're after a simple, warm, sweet vanilla that's fairly subtle but yummy this is great for the price. I had the body mist. Men like it. As always, if you don't like gourmand fragrances, stay away from this. 
Just bought this one out of curiosity because I heard Kylie Jenner uses this. Coconut Passion reminds me of a coconut cake or something like that baking, and the kitchen is full of the beautiful aroma. What it is however, is a deliciously inviting mist which lasts on your body for a long time and remains close to the skin. Like most VS fragrances, this is basic and uncomplicated but I love it! This is absolutely delicious! I think it's mostly vanilla extract with splash of coconut water. nothing very special. a gorgeous blend of coconut, vanilla & hint of lily of the valley, this really is a wonderful aroma, i love the smell of coconut but i much prefer sweet coconut which this has, my hubby hates coconut but even he likes this! I really love this body mist. For me it's one of the best summer scents out there, but also one of the most classic scents of the house as well. It is, ironically, a perfect fall scent even though it has coconut, it has the sweet milky scent of coconut but has a darker richer note to it from the caramel. I really enjoy layering this over deeper scents like Nest Indigo for date night wear. It's also very nice to take it with you in your vacation. I can hardly detect the coconut in here at all. A perfect blend of condensed milk, coconut and vanilla. I absolutely love this body mist. Smells like a little souvenir from Hawaii or Tahiti. But it's different from other vanillas on me.. Must be coconut peeking through somewhere. Extremely sensual and sexual, but at the same time youthful and happy, full of energy and, indeed, passion! I will note though that I think a lot of people who like coconut perfume like the suntan lotion type of note that often goes along with it just from what I have read so it is important to note that this fragrance doesn't have that which is why perhaps people are dissapointed. Bummer. It's quickly becoming my go-to scent for day or night. i got this for the reviews saying its more vanilla and sweet. When I spray it on in the morning, it lasts about 5 hours, starting out as a sweet coconutty vanilla and in the end leaving behind a slight trace of natural vanilla mixed with lily of the valley. It smells like a vanilla-coconut dream. Ordered this online and the lotion had never smelled it before but seen so many good reviews so I was so excited to get it but when I got it it smelled like a cheap vanilla which smelled gross gave me the worst headache ever and made me feel sick to my stomach. :-(. It really is a shame because the notes look beautiful but the actuality is extremely disappointing. Smells very artificial and nothing like the old version in the glass bottle that is unfortunately disconnected! LOL I bought the shower gel and found the lotion on Ebay. Okay, some vanilla too, after a while. It's a gourmand coconut-vanilla-sandalwood. I do get alot of vanilla. It gives these Victoria Secret scents a touch of herbal freshness like someone has offered you tea instead of perfume. I have the body mist, the body lotion and the handcream. This is femininine, sweet and inviting. Still on the hunt for a great coconut summer fragrance! To me, it's a perfect balance of vanilla and coconut, my two favourite scents, I wouldn't say it's tropical or anything, but more warm and sweet. Delicious coconut and warm vanilla. Really light, really beautiful! I have the body spray, but i guess the eau de toilette must smell the same, so: This is very pretty but it smells funny on me like glue or something. I'm not sure why, but that's what I got, and it was heavy. The ET has all the notes listed on here: vanilla, lily of the valley, coconut, chamomile and aloe vera. It doesn't smell like suntan lotion, btw, but like toasted coconut cake. I have the fragrance mist in the plastic bottle with black cap. In a good way though. Sweet sweet perfume. Extremely beachy. I tend to not want to like things that seem overrated but this can hardly be overrated. It is not a parfum so if you are looking for something which performs as an EDP or EDT, then this is not it. i used to wear this more often and i got quite a few compliments on it though :). So sad that they had to let go of this original fragrance it really is a great gourmand fragrance . Also, we can use it all through the year. Dissapointed that I dident gel with this,tad too heavy on me,would have liked it to be a lighter smell,too foody for me and I love pink sugar lol,have a full bottle so if anyone in uk wants to swap with another vs mist,please message me x, I was pleasantly surprised by this (I bought the EDT). I love coconut, but on me it smells like plastic. HOWEVER! Guess its okay if youre in the office and want to wear something very intimate that wont offend anyone. I just realized I could use Coconut Passion shower gel instead of Prada Candy shower gel, and save myself tons on money. The composition overall has a strong "buttery play-doh" vibe. (for VS) when I layer with theotion it lasts 6 hours on me. The Sillage and longevity are typical for a body spray. I love cheap coconut scents (like the hawaiian tropic body sunscreen) and the coconut in this smells so subtle I can only sense a hint of nuttiness. I was immediately worried that this fragrance would not be wearable for me, but after five minutes, it settled down, and after a few more minutes, it became a soft vanilla coconut that reminds me of warm skin at the beach - a fun, casual summer scent. But I don't do floral or lighter scents. :) (over 6 hours on my skin). I love sweet coconutty perfumes this one is one of the best.. It's weird.
I just have the body mist but it's long lasting and people will be able to smell you from a few feet away. It smells kinda like a dessert, but it's not too sweet, if that makes sense. Delicious vanilla plus coconut, but not cloying and not overly sweet. I really don't understand why this is called coconut passion. I'll buy the EDP first, and sometimes then I'll buy the most and lotion with it--but I lost my most in a bathroom somewhere lol.. As long as I have the EDT, I'm good;) no alcohol! It's not fruity at all, and the coconut isn't so roasty toasty either. The vanilla is more prominent than the coconut. Probably fine for the colder months, that is if you want to smell like a cake of course! Rue 21's "Twenty One Black" still remains my favorite coconut perfume..but this would probably have to be a close second. Love this as a after shower spritz with the body mist and sometimes layer other scent on top. A good scent for every type of weather.
Yuck! It's supposed to be coconut vanilla, but I get very little coconut--this is all sweet, decadent vanilla on me. This is a very vanillary coconut scent. If you love coconut scents then this is for you.. A scent I never get tired of. It's a warm scent, which I almost always like, but this one is a little bit too much of goods for me :). I recommend pairing it with the lotion to increase its longevity. The vanilla body mist from dollar General smells better than this. one of my all time favs!!!! 99.9% vanilla 0.01% coconut. They are too sweet for my liking!! I love this since forever, this pleasant sweetness never lies and always brings compliments. When used with the body lotion it stays all day and even till the next day. Which includes the body mist, the body wash, and the lotion. There's a LOT of vanilla in this. The vanilla, in my opinion, remembers me of Vanilla Ice Cream, the one with little bits of chocolate in it. I don't find this to be tropical smelling at all.. More of a coconut in a cream pie, with tons of vanilla that went into the ingredients. A very yummy perfume that I think is better for summer and winter. I bought a tiny bottle on sale at VS, and I'm glad I don't have any more of this juice to use up. But I don't think it's too much about the coconut. Despite the name, it's primarily a vanilla scent, though the coconut is definitely there. If I had to describe the smell it's like smelling a barbie +coconutty creaminess. It is very sweet, and most people I walk by tend to comment on how they smell bakery/cupcake/gourmand. It also lasts a good while on my skin. I do however, get a tiny hint of like, an artificial scent. lol, i have this and wear it all the time. It is a scrumptious and gorgeously sweet-smelling fusion of coconut and vanilla. I just bought the eau de toilette and have been wearing it for the last 3 days. I have to buy it again, I am obsessed! This scent is really easy to wear because I feel that it's not so "beachy" and not in your face COCONUT. exactly like sugary vanilla sweet scent!!
Oih, how I love this! I feel guilty to admit, but it's one of my fave perfumes and is def one of my signatures for day time. this does not smell of coconut..just sweet sickly vanilla. Its a nice even mix of creamy coconut and warm vanilla with a subtle hint of green notes to keep it from being cloying or sickly sweet. For someone who loves gourmands this is dreamy and divine. <3 I actually love every scent that has vanilla/coconut in it as long as it stand out, and this is just perfect, as I previously said. Sweet coconut, mmmmm. It's very milky, silky,creamy,sweet and rich scent. To me smells like the perfect blend of coconut sun tan lotion and vanilla ice cream. I love the fact that the vanilla or the coconut overpowers the other things in there. I have a pretty sensitive nose and tend to stay away from strong fragrances, and Id have to say that this gives me a headache. This was Kind of a blind buy,but oh so worth it!, at first I smell coconut a few moments later the coconut disappears and it turns into a beautiful vanilla scent. On the edge I can get a strong caramel smell, something that drives me crazy! Strong vanilla and coconut smell. I ended up desperately trying to scrub it off after wearing for 15 mins or so. It's sweet but not sickly. It's a sweet scent but it has a hint of sexiness to it as well. Musky and weird scent that just kinda lingers around you. It smells warm, milky yet fresh at the same time! This is straight up coconut with some vanilla notes. I was going to buy the shower gel and the lotion, but all they had was the shower gel and a tester of the lotion. I've had this for awhile and just started wearing it more frequently. Scrumptious!
I just got a new bottle of fragrance mist in this scent. The vanilla is stronger than the coconut, but you can still smell that sweet and creamy coconut. !juz tiny hint of coconut..love it !!!!!!! Dominant Creamy milky coconut with a background of vanilla ice dream, I am writing about the Coconut Passion Fragrance Mist. Very nice, but this is not a 'Vanilla' scent to me. The first thing that came to my mind is that it would be worrisome for me to try it since it would smell like I just sprayed coconut oil. It lasts almost 7 hours on my skin. Creamy coconut and vanillia. Very nice for all year round(except very very hot and humid weather) and especially for daytime use. He pretty much never tells me I smell nice. I should get my coconut fix somewhere else. Unfortunately, I have to tread lightly with musk notes as they tend to turn into muuuuusk on me and that is just what this did. I normally hate coconut fragrances and they give me a headache and wasn't going to try this until the saleslady suggested to try it. Ideal for a summer night out. I like vanilla lace and also amber romance is decent too, but I won't wear any of these in the body spray. They're what I reach for if I'm doing laundry, running errands, exercising, or when I know I'll be around people with asthma, allergies, or perfume sensitivities. My friend made me want to buy this because that's all she wears, but now whenever I spray this, all I think of is her. I am going to buy this fragrance mist next time I go shopping. The best description for this is 'Creme Brulee', milky, caramelized and sugary. mmmsmells like cake. So, I thought I'd be in love with this, but I think I just like it. I have never understood when someone compared a fragrance (especially ones I own) to suntan lotion until this one. Pure coconut with a hint of sweet vanilla, Love it , it's yummy and simple unpretentious , for my is most vainilla (love it) and a little coconut. Sweet, creamy vanilla-coconut. I kept it for a couple of years but I'm over it now. its just a good summer scent for freshening up. I do like coconut on certain occasions, and I like that this is a good blend of warm, toasty coconut and a very creamy vanilla - end result, a well blended, wearable fragrance that is cozy and comfortable. You've got nothing to lose buying this at such a price. Unfortunately, the sweetness of this vanilla drowns the coconut, instead of enhancing it. I chose two mists, then quickly grabbed this one because it had Vanilla. The best coconut vanilla accord out there. I really like it though. When it's extremely hot I wear my Davidoff Cool Water :). I still have the VS moisturizer.. This is really nice. I was surprised. When I want to feel cozy or when I want something simple, good longevity, sometimes I use it with others vainilla based perfumes that are stronger to add a girly touch <3. Fragrance just hot musky and gross even on the card. This is a solid like, not a must-have love.
This is a feel good fragrance to wear when you're fresh out of the shower and don't want to wear a perfume that is complex. It is one of those cupcake like perfume and it does make me smell yummilicious! No complaints here. With Victoria's secret I find when they get it right with their fragrances they really get it right. Ohh my god! I have this in body mist and to me it smells like creme brle. :P. Very nice smell. With this fragrance, I get mostly vanilla rather than coconut in this fragrance. I wear it in my hair and on clothes. Marissa Zappas Announces A New Collection + A Giveaway! Its not as strong as Pure Seduction or Love Spell, but its definitely there when you spray it and it lasts surprisingly long. Smells like pure creamy coconut and ultimate happiness. Really really sweet, if you don't love heavier dessert scents don't even bother with this, doesn't smell tropical to me at all, this is all cake. This is a perfect coconut scent for those who like gourmands like me. To me, Victoria's Secret body mists and EDTs are what I wear when a "perfume" would be too much. I love and appreciate a good coconut scent and this is right up my alley. Not particularly girly, like other perfumes in the series, it can be worn by young girls, but also by more mature women. But I guess she like. The coconut is not cloying or overly sweet. For a coconut fragrance this is for me one of the best I have tried surprisingly! However the longevity is about 30 min, id love if this body spray lasted longer on me. There's something almost smoky swirling about, which makes it good in cooler weather, too. I bought it as a blind buy because it was on sale. What a gorgeous smell! I'd rate it like a 4/10. The coconut is more fragrant in the ET. That's it. Fragrance Mist: Burnt plastic holding coco-vanilla sunscreen at first. I remembered it was this scent (I tried on several, so had to think back on it). A summer aroma, not in the artificial sunscreen-y, or fake coconut way, but with a smooth cocktail vibe. It isnt very formal as coconut never could be but vanilla makes it very modern and fun. The strangest comment I got was from a woman in the locker room who walked by me and said, "someone smells like cotton candy!" it smells beautful, but only smells when it's being sprayed. The new version which comes in a plastic , tacky bottle is horrible! This smells like coconut macaroons heavy with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, not too heavy on the coconut though, which I appreciate as I find coconut notes can be suffocating to me. I really like this, it's a little synthetic at first but it settles down into a warm vanilla coconut macaroon. If I could describe this it would be eating a vanilla muffin while applying sunscreen. When I first smelled it I got a hint of vanilla and tropical coconut. I recommend the Eau de Toilette and not the Body Mist. I remember being in Victoria's Secret and I had sprayed myself a few scents, with this being one of them. this perfme is a very femenine perfume the vanilla and coconut is very sensetive its feels like ur back on the beach !!! I smel only vanilla and coconut, and even though I like coconut, can not imagine to wear it normaly in the city far away from the beach. The only problem is that it has no lasting power, but I mean it's a body splash after all. BUT when my boyfriend smelled it on me, he went absolutely crazy! :D. I bought the eau de toilette version of this and i really like it. I had a body splash by Bachellor (a Brazillian brand) which is identical to Coconut Passion.. Too sweet! i prefer the lotion. At first it gave me headaches but after wearing weeks i've started liking it.. I wore it walking on a fishing pier and it was the perfect scent. On me, this is about 95% vanilla, 5% coconut, and no lily of the valley. I LOVE anything with coconut so of course, I love this but if gourmand fragrances are not your cup of tea, steer clear because you won't be smelling anything but coconut here. Sillage is soft and longevity is good at 6+ hours. This is definitely "Coconut"!
I think its soo similar to Prada Candy, but, with a cheaper price. Yes - its cheap and yes - you will get what you pay for. yumm yumm yummy its the yummiest smell ever! The lotion is by far my favorite product for skin lotion I have ever used. I keep repurchasing this one and it is becoming a favourite of mine. Sweet, but not too little-girl-sugary sweet. Coconut Passion has just a hint of coconut milk and loads of warm vanilla cream dessert. I think this one might be a favorite for a long time. Very happy with this scent, summertime in a bottle without smelling like tanning oil! I've been wearing it for like 2 years and I still love it.
That is not a bad thing as I love coconut and am enjoying this very much. It's creamy and not sickening. Also a great tropical scent.
This smells horrible. I love everything coconut, this is a favourite of mine, and a must have for summer. i smelled this in store, and i fell in love. Several hours later, it's still noticeable. And I love that because I like to match actual shampoos with perfumes. This sents is all about coconut and vanilla.
