Have you looked at the aluminum Summit heads? if thats the case they are the best head for the money imo. suppose to be real nice when hes done with them. Just making sure you noticed they were center bolt heads. Don, there has been a lot of chatting about them. That's what I'm thinking--a stock upgrade/weight drop from the 291 double hump heads since it seems it isn't worth the effort and cost to rebuild them. my machine shop loved the heads also. Hard to tell if those are the dart knockoffs or something else. I was thinking of changing the cam but dont feel like taking the oil pan down to pull the timing chain cover. Myself I am still running stock 291 Double Humpers on my L79 68 so I am no expert on these heads. this economy is killing me.
