In a gorgeous location between Bingham Falls and Mount Mansfield, surrounded by mountains and forest land, Smugglers' Notch Resort is a great back-to-nature retreat. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from the center of town where there is a reasonable selection of what seemed to be popular restaurants although I did not avail myself of any of them. It seems very outdoor oriented with water sports and skiing close by. They also don't charge a fee or deposit for your pup to stay. Enjoy indulgent breakfasts, bird watching, and country strolls.

Stroll into the historic centre and take a seat at local favorite Maes Place where you wont feel like an outsider for long. this city and surrounding citys are turning to dumps. Lodge at Bromley features a fitness center, bar, a shared lounge and ski-to-door access in Peru. The town was very walkable and picturesque.

The property is located about six miles from Stowe Mountain Resort and is less than four miles from the Stowe Golf Course. The epicentre of the latter is a couple blocks away on Church Street, a buzzing cobblestoned lane lined with top local eateries. Equinox mountain which was one of the reasons that I stopped in Manchester before proceeding north on Vermont Highway 100 is just a short drive away.
