Carhartt WIP hoodies combine comfort and durability. The jacket performed well, but the zipper was very difficult to operate, then the zipper failed. I love the space in the right pocket which holds my cell phone. It is weird classifying this as a sweatshirt as it shares the same characteristics and comfort as one, but it is as close to a full out fall jacket as you can get.
Like the fabric but the zipper is bulky. It's nice to have a sweatshirt that is warm, soft, and water resistant so if you get caught in a light shower, you stay dry and don't have to worry about packing rain gear all the time.
Heavy-duty EVERYTHING. They are roomy, yet designed so the items will not fall out. It turned out so great that I ended up ordering several more for my employees and family! Definitely recommend this jacket!

I am very happy with this product. It was more of a standard weight. The waist and wrist cuffs are also snug and strong.

A few times that I have worn it while it was snowing or lightly raining and this thing kept me dry. The fit was comfortable and it keeps you dry on those cold rainy days. Color Basil Heather. Very durable and comfortable too, Not sure I would trust in a downpour but it did great in a light rain.

This sweatshirt is also roomy enough to wear over heavy shirts and even a light vest if needed. The rain gear is very comfortable to wear. Jacket is great, Was disappointed in the zipper!

Keep up the great work Carhartt and you will always find me wearing your gear and telling my crew(s) how much value your clothing line provides! I just got this and so haven't been able to test it in the field but so farI'm impressed. Still my favorite thing to wear if I am chilly .. very comfortable as well. Not as waterproof as "rain defender" suggests. You can cool off without totally removing it. This sweatshirt helps shed the rain off me.

It is a great sweatshirt and heavy enough to handle whatever is thrown at it. I only rated it 4 stars because the cell phone pocket is to small for a smart phone of any size (which seems to be where cell phones are going for some time now# and it takes a long time to hang dry after getting wet #I have to wash and dry after every wearing if I'm in wet conditions which is something I do not do with my other jackest/sweatshirts). Overall the sweatshirt has a excellent fit, giving you movement where you need it. Color Black. It? Bought a Large Tall at Marks in Edmonton, Alberta (Canadian chain) (it is extremely difficult to find Large Tall) and so happy I found it, keeps me warm up to 0 degrees c with a t-shirt underneath. However, in todays day and age, profitability and convenience has taken over the food supply chain. Looks great, feels great, and nice and durable.

An all around excellent sweatshirt for everyday use at work or play. I will say the fit of the bottom of the jacket really runs small and tight and the jacket runs long down over your bottom..

I got a size L, but it was a little big around the mid section. I bought my Carhartt hoody for those times when I'm scouting for turkey in the spring. Only thing I'd change is I would have gotten a Large (tall) as I have long arms and a short torso, its thick and very warm that's what i like about it because i don't like wearing many layers i just wear a t shirt underneath and i don't like all those bulky jackets this is very comfortable and keeps you warm no matter how cold it is.

I recently purchased the RD zip front sweatshirt and love it. The Rain Defender is much warmer than the lightweight hoodies. I used your which size fits me process, completed all the questions as needed - the sweatshirt swims on me - I will be returning it for the next size down.

This sweatshirt is nearly perfect. Authentic flavours. The zip front allows you to regulate your body temperature, while the Rain Defender finish keeps you dry. Very comfortable, easy to wear alone or underneath a winter jacket. This is a great all around sweatshirt, it is not only comfortable, good looking and provides practical warmth in cool weather but also provides the confidence of being able to go out hiking or working and not worrying about the rain.
I work outside majority of day. MUCH YES. A few mornings recently I left home while it was raining and one morning in particular raining a lot more than I expected. I purchased a large and it fits perfectly.

At times it's almost too hot, but that's when the zipper comes in handy. My husband and son get about 3 of them for Christmas. I guess its for keys or small items but for me it just gets in the way. Water beads up on it like a fresh coat of wax on the truck.

Exactly what I was looking for, extremely like the sweatshirt fits very well very waterproof for being a sweatshirt. It's very thick for a Hoodie. Able to move freely while wearing it and lets me do my job. They have a good store in Chicago that is a little hard to park your car when you go there but it is worth the effort to stop in. I liked the sweatshirt but i was annoyed that the zipper broke appart, i bought it 2 month ago and it broke appart. If you plan on wearing some layers under it, I'd go with your normal size first. This is my third one of the Paxton. Runs a size large as is known, just like the C55. It states that it a heavyweight, this is not a heavy weight jacket but a light weight jacket.
