Sorry for the book the dynamics of stand the way it locks guitar into place when it's set into stand is the best set up I've seen just wish the palm switch or hight release was made of plastic that's not reliable once that breaks stand is useless unless you have guitar you aren't worried about having it fall as hight drops and hits floor you can tape it if you want to take chances why should you after paying? Considered the 414 with the fixed yoke.
This stand features Hercules' patented SHOKSAFE Tilting Post and the Secure Retention System on the upper receiving yoke and cradle. I have had no problems with it so far, and the mechanism is very convenient for live use, and especially as I am a multi-instrumentalist and do a lot of instruments changes.
But it does not lock in the flat position and flops around and will lock in to the support position.
Easy set up. TJ Jackson suggested these and I love them.
