It's lazy wintery mornings in pjs. It reminds me of a dessert I had as s kid with coconut shavings on it. I had to go out and get it. This is the first word that comes to my mind. I own (and have always owned) more Mugler fragrances than any other house. I am hoping that this is one that grows on me so I'm not going to be too harsh. A very pleasant skin scent, comforting and I love the mixture of coconut water and vanilla. (why create a flanker that smells just like the O.G? It is a strong scent I can imagine a lot of people would like this but for me its a no. Nice and sweet not lasting and very common but its nice for summer holidays gives a happy feel sexy bottle like the colour the only alien I can tolerate. This one feels very tame and not like it belongs to Mugler, or Alien, for that matter. It definitely reminds me of sunscreen, but in a good way. Creamy and powdery. i can smell it though my mask i'm in loveee! Weak lasting power, the dna of Alien is hardly therecrowd pleaser, weak copy of YSL black opium but without the cofee. The cashmeran is done very well. Beautiful green scent with a touch of orange blossom for the warmer months. Love at first spritz! On me this smells like play-dough with vanilla and powder. I think this is more of a cold weather scent for me. I have no idea what it's doing in an Alien bottle, there is a tiny little hint of the original but it's momentary. The verdure of the coconut water note is mouthwateringly beautiful.
So the Sephora gal gave me a sample of this (they only have pre-packed samples now :-( and it's on that thin paper) but at first, it was so strong and 'not my thing' I immediately had to wash it off (and that took a bit of doing) Too much vanilla for me and that's such an unsophisticated note to me! I ended up hating the drydown. It was created by Firmenich perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne. I think L'eau is a very pretty scent, and I like Alien Goddess even more. Now - yawn.

Upon smelling it on a tester strip, I was entranced and likened it to a sparkling Soleil Blanc. Arriving home after 1 hour at the shopping center, I sniffed my wrist once more to check how the perfume evolved into heart and base notes. Such a beautiful bottle. The coconut and vanilla are immature and pleasant and strong and girly. Comforting! I genuinely believe this is a new favorite of mine. This scent is nostalgic to me, that's why I like it and kinda want to own a full bottle of it.
Would be worth it if you could find it on a good sale. This really reminds me of a beach perfume by Bethany Hamilton called Stoked that was sold in Claires. Somewhat underwhelming. I get a lot of coconut water. I think this is more of a cold weather scent for me. I have no idea what it's doing in an Alien bottle, there is a tiny little hint of the original but it's momentary. The verdure of the coconut water note is mouthwateringly beautiful.
So the Sephora gal gave me a sample of this (they only have pre-packed samples now :-( and it's on that thin paper) but at first, it was so strong and 'not my thing' I immediately had to wash it off (and that took a bit of doing) Too much vanilla for me and that's such an unsophisticated note to me! I ended up hating the drydown. It was created by Firmenich perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne. I think L'eau is a very pretty scent, and I like Alien Goddess even more. Now - yawn. <3). When she ran out of her sample I immediately got her a 60ml tester for near 40% off retail at one of the discount sites. Not at all like sun screen but rather more like clean and healthy. Alas! I could imagine this in summer heat OR in the fall with a soft cozy sweater on. Lovely opening on this one, reminds me of a delicious, juicy coco cocktail. Imagine the original Alien went for a beach vacation. It doesnt smell exactly like it but it has that sensual, dreamy vanilla-heliotrope mysteriousness. I really really like this! Nothing groundbreaking but very pleasant in my opinion. I think one could safely wear it any time. I get a little suntan vibe but that works for me it brings back memories of Coppertone days on the Gulf coast. While the juice itself is not bad, I'm disappointed that Mugler has lost its edge, and I wouldn't spend the asking price for a rather basic perfume. The notes sounded perfect for me. Judging by the color of the juice some may find this a bit feminine but I believe is a true unisex as it still retains the Mugler cologne DNA but sweeter without the heavy floral note that "take me out" have. It's romantic, smooth, and velvet. The cashmere note keeps this super cuddly. Love at first sight, fresh and clean but powdery. Idk, maybe it's time to wash that sweater. I'm not into the vanilla based scents, as they are almost always cloyingly creamy and overly warm, but I was curious because my perfume buddy absolutely loves it. The fragrance is available as 30, 60 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum. Yet I will use up my tiny cute yummi bottle and maybe even rebuy it as an occasional extension to my wardrobe. It smells like a balmy night in Hawaii. Coconut and vanilla are very prominent here.
even my mom, who's critical of perfumes, liked this fragrance best. - Mugler official info. A first impression that led to an obsession. Clean, soapy and very floral. Sorry but Alien Goddess is a hilariously bad name. very inoffensive. Well for my surprise, there was something very synthetic and unpleasantly loud behind the vanilla and cashmeran that bothered me. I look forward to testing it. A tiny splash of bergamot cuts through the oiliness and makes the fragrances freshers. Smells nice but too girly for me even though it has one of my favorite notes in it. Nothing to do with the original. Perfect for summer!
I dont see how this is remotely similar to the original Alien - it feels like LOreal is just riding off the success of that scent without putting any effort in to speak to fans of it. lol if anyone watches outer banks, i could totally see kiara wearing this scent! I've slept on this fragranceit smells so good. I think I'll only wear it at the beach, though or maybe on super sunny days. Scent is a 4/5 for basics but for mugler its a 1/5. Upon smelling it on a tester strip, I was entranced and likened it to a sparkling Soleil Blanc. Arriving home after 1 hour at the shopping center, I sniffed my wrist once more to check how the perfume evolved into heart and base notes. Such a beautiful bottle. The coconut and vanilla are immature and pleasant and strong and girly. Comforting! I genuinely believe this is a new favorite of mine. This scent is nostalgic to me, that's why I like it and kinda want to own a full bottle of it.
Would be worth it if you could find it on a good sale. The people disparaging this fragrance because it's not the EXACT same as their precious Alien, and saying it may as well be a generic BBW scent, I'm convinced that you haven't smelt this, and I also don't trust you because you're probably the same ones that have been assaulting us with and inducing headaches while wearing Angel a mile upwind of us for decades. I'm surprised at how many negative reviews this has! If you like this try la belle Fleur terrible same coconut feeling. Smelling this was like an out of body experience; like witnessing the house of Muglers funeral. 5/10.
Is the projection and Sillage weaker than the usual Alien (line), yes. This isn't very interesting to me. it's so beautiful, and i will definitely be on the search for a full bottle soon. It's okay. Starts nice but ends up smelling like an unscented candle. Though I enjoy it on other people, I cant wear original Alien. I adore it. Tried Alien Goddess on one arm and Angel on the other today and bought Angel. So sexy and beachey, Im a big fan of powdery coconut dry downs on fragrances so was really excited to try this beauty well this fell short i did get coconut on the first spray kinda like coconut milk not strong like sunscreen .on the dry down i wouldnt describe it as powdery it faded very fast in fact was completely gone from my skin after about 2 hours which is rare for a Thierry scent, This reminds me of two perfumes, non of them is Alien. And usually I hate coconut, but this blend makes it less milky and more juicy in the beginning, which I like. The citrus and powdery vanilla really come out on me. Why would I want the tweaked and toned down flankers? sillage and longevity are impressive, and i find this very easy to wear, even in cold weather. If you're looking for a sunscreen type scent for summer this will make you happy. Floral coconut water and sunscreen. I love Mugler frags for their artistry and unique scent profiles. It's not at all similar to Alien either. Smells very summer at the beach. i don't know why they keep creating new scents under existing lines that have no correlation aside from the name? I do wish the heliotrope was actually perceptible; I think it would have given an interesting element to contrast the typical beachy notes. If youve smelled G by harajuku lovers, then youve smelled this. Which is $10 at TJ Maxx. It is a clean freshie with vetiver main note. i really like this one. So similar to BBW At The Beach!
I feel as if this might be a real Mugler fragrance. This one is definitely gonna be a summer staple for me. This really reminds me of a beach perfume by Bethany Hamilton called Stoked that was sold in Claires. Somewhat underwhelming. I get a lot of coconut water. Not for me sadly, I also get the OG BBW Coconut Lime Verbena (plus a smidge of OG Alien, maybe 3:1) and I am here for it! HOWEVER.I haven't ever purchased any flankers from Mugler until this year. I love Mugler but this was a pass. This can't be Mugler. its sexy asf anyone i shoved my arm into to ask their opinion said they loved it.
